Well anyway...playing with some new cat litter. Saw this at Pet Goods tonight and decided to try it. Actually advertises on the bag that it absorbs moisture and then releases it. So we'll see how it goes.

EDIT: But I would spend the extra money, just so I DIDN'T KNOW it was kitty litter. Something about kitty litter in a humi just does NOT appeal to me.

No. Not even remotely.
Well, maybe kinda.
But only in as much as a Yugo and a Bentley are both cars.

Actually they are the same and have been in use since 2002 by many botl and sotl. The only difference is that the kitty beads are a bit larger than the heartfelt. On some boards they have done a side by side comparison with no visible difference. Google ExquisiCat or even heartfelt and see what comes up. Prior to that some people used gardening beads in thier humi in th 1980's. also the same.

It also contains my humidity readings that I update daily. This will allow you to judge how the kitty litter beads perform in my vino under my conditions. I laid out these conditions explicitly and they should not be too different from those of other people except that I might open the door more rarely.
