Vector Fuel Disables

I noticed since I've been using Vector butane, all of my flame adjusters are disabled. I first noticed it on my Z-plus. Next, I noticed on a Colibri, a Jetlite and a PB207.

I wouldn't have noticed were I not such a cheap bastard. I went with Walmart Ronson and wondered why all lighters stopped working. I then tried Zippo premium and at least everything worked. Eyelashes wouldn't singe. All of my flame adjusters worked.

When I switched to Vector, all of my lighters became mini rockets! No way to turn down these boosters. The flames on the Blazers are about 4-5" long. I'm not exaggerating.

Is there something not so high octane? Something in between Zippo and Vector. Are butane flame adjusters like door close buttons on elevators, just there for show? Help a young simian out.

bleed the air out, turn down the lighter all the way, then fill-should help

and if that doesn't work remove the governor on the lighters so thhat you can turn them down further than factory specs. Usually its removed to increase flame but the fix works both ways
