So there I was all excited when my wife called me at work and told me a package came for me. I knew it was my Hydra and couldn't wait to get home. When I got the box open I was shocked, the AC/DC adapter was cracked and the insides slide around, no way I'm using that. I figured no biggie, I'll see if I can find one at Goodwill or the Hardware store. Then after close inspection of the Hydra unit itself I discovered that the slot where the power ribbon goes into the Unit has a bent prong and the ribbon can't be inserted.... I am truly bummed and have contacted the vendor and hope I can get this taken care of.

Thats a bummer man, I hope that everything ends up alright.

Your vendor should make right on this, not sure who you bought it from but you should let us all know if it gets taken care of or not, so we can support the people who do things right or not support the people who don't take care of their customers.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll do the right thing and you guys will know either way. The biggest problem is that I don't believe he stocks these normally as it was a dropship directly from Quality Imports from the shipping label.

Also does anyone know if the hydra water cartridges are supposed to come prefilled? Mine smells like mildew. Don't know if that is common.

No, it should be dry, I would definitely make sure thats not mold in there before I put it in my humidor.

Who is this vendor? Something smells fishy

Thats not good.

I doubt its the vendors fault. It seems to me to be a production mistake, these things happen, and I would be extremely shocked if they don't make it right for you.

Yeah like I like I said, it was a drop ship order so he never touched it. Just stinks when you get so hyped up and then this, at least I have so Taboo sticks coming from Rob soon

Ok, Eric at Kiokicigars has Quality Importers sending me a new unit, he has been nothing but helpful and understanding! I sure wouldn't want to piss him off!

So hopefully my new one is in good shape

OSIRIS no problem at all, as you know from our conversations via email that I am more ticked about this then you. I cannot even imagine that this was sent in the condition it was to you. It does not make me happy at all. I have taken care of this and please let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you it is the right thing to do, I know he needs one and would never do that to anyone. Not sure if it was the drop shipper or the shipper but someone is going to pay for a new unused nice one.
