Vector Triple Flame Table Lighter (Non Pump Version)
I am looking for the vector triple flame table lighter that sells for 59.99. I saw it at my local B&M and really like it. Is there anyone on CS that owns one? If so, what do you think of it? Thanks.

Re: Vector Triple Flame Table Lighter (Non Pump Version)
I have used one, but do not own one, and they work very nice. Put out a lot of flame and a lot of heat, definitely do not need to puff while lighting (unless you don't like eyebrows).

Re: Vector Triple Flame Table Lighter (Non Pump Version)
I assume you are talking about the thundra? I have one with a perdomo logo on it. (got it as a freebie with a box of lot 23's)
Its more of a novelty item for me, not very practical other than as a conversation piece. It throws so much heat that you have to hold the darn thing a good 8 inches from the foot to get it lit without scorching more than you want to. and as chippewastud said, don't even consider puffing on it when you are lighting. It's a cool thing to have, and I use it occasionally if I can't find my other lighters. you just have to be extra careful so you don't obliterate your cigar in the process. |

Re: Vector Triple Flame Table Lighter (Non Pump Version)
I have had problems with the fill valve on both of the Vector KGM lighters I own; the spring that seals the valve closed after filling tends to stick and I end up wasting a lot of butane while filling them. I don't have a Thundra though (I have an Emporer and a Stratos.) so it is possible that model has a better/different spring on its fill valve. Other than the fill valve the Emporer has worked flawlessly. I needed to take the Stratos apart and adjust the max flow rate after the initial fill.
If it is the looks and size of the lighter you are after, Lotus also makes a big Triple Flame table lighter, the T3. You can get them with the Tatuaje logo on the side. Google either "Lotus T3" or "Tatuaje lighter" for retailers; you should be able to find one for fifty bucks. -Matt- |
