Nibo 44 Refil Problems

Having some difficulty filling my Nibo 44. Search hasn't been to helpful for me since there doesn't seem to be a lot on these lighters.

I've had two successful refills in the past, but tonight has been of no help. I've tried refilling it, but it's as if the nozzle is clogged some time. I'm using NIBO Triple Refined butane, but as soon as I turn the can and press, it's ass if the butane sprays out of the nozzle and all over my hand, none of it going into the lighter. This happens on both cans of butane that I have.

Any thoughts or am I destined for a new torch?

2 refills has been my experience with Nibos before they tend to crap out...I would invest in a Blazer PB207, I am going on about 10 refills with mine without a problem.

Re: Nibo 44 Refil Problems

Im surprised your still using that one. Its only good for a cigar or two anyways. But that doesn't help you. The lighter comes with a metal peice that looks like a flame. The tip of the flame is used to poke in to the hole to fill it. Hold the metal peice and let all the gas out, while also pressing the gas button to purge it. Then try to refill and see what happens from there

Re: Nibo 44 Refil Problems

Thanks for the responses. I've used the flame thing and got it to drain completely and did that prior to attempting my refill endeavors. I think I'm going to be on the hunt again for a new torch.... I only paid $20 for this nibo so I can't complain too much.

"You get what you pay for." may apply here.
