Vector Butane leaking

I've tried all the adapters but none work, the butane leaks all over my hand, anybody else have this problem or know a fix? I've tried it with a couple of lighters, a cheapo one, and a Blazer PB-207 but same problem with both.

Thanks for posting this (I kept forgetting) as I also have this problem with my PB-207, all the other lighters fill fine with Vector

No tips just get it on there straight and no problem, a little askew and it shoots every where.

Re: Vector Butane leaking

My butane comes with an adapter for many different sizes of filler ports (whatever the hell they are called), some of my lighters need an adapter, some just work with the regular nozzle. Don't know if that helps any, but it might

If his problem is the same as mine, the nozzle nor any of the adapters will fit straight over the PB-207 when it comes to Vector Butane

Don't buy Vector. How is that for some advice?

Re: Vector Butane leaking

I use vector butane and use none of the attachments when filling. I fill my Blazer Pb-207 and I do not have any leaks. In fact I have filled my blazer for a couple months, still has plenty of fuel

I have used these lighters for a couple of years and have used vector for the same amount of time with no problems. However I have a friend that shakes pretty bad and he can't fill his lighter.

Re: Vector Butane leaking

I've tried the adapters but they just make it worse. I bought 3 big cans of this stuff so I have to figure it out. I'll try to be very careful and get it straight, but I'm pretty sure it was straight last time.

Thanks for the advise chipewa, I bought Vector because of the rave reviews on CS!

Re: Vector Butane leaking

Sometimes you really have to hold down hard and move the can around a bit to seat the filler.

Re: Vector Butane leaking

I constantly spray myself with the Lava. I was hoping the Vector would be better. Guess not. Funny, when I used the colibri and xikar fluid it never happened.

Re: Vector Butane leaking

My Lava sprays out sometimes, but it still fills my lighters all the way up, so it really doesn't bother me. If it fills the lighter, I say don't sweat the small stuff.
