mine has the annoying safety on it, but it also has a lock to lock it in the on position. it's funny to watch people try to use it b/c it is a weird safety.

I hated that safety. All you have to do is cut it off. That was the first thing I did when I got mine.

I wouldn't want to mess with it in case I need to send it in for warranty for any reason. Plus it's not too bad once you get used to it.

I hated the safety at first also. But after a couple days, it doesn't bother me at all - I am used to lifting the safety and firing it up in one motion.

I stayed with the Jetlite for quite a while since I had paid over $150 on various lighters that completely let me down. Jetlite always seemed to run out of fuel at the worst possible time so I was always carrying two with me. Then I broke down and purchased the PB 207 and have been absolutely thrilled with it. I love this lighter!
