Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

Picked up my 18 ct. cigar caddy 3 years ago and i love it. I noticed the new style foam trays were deeper and held the cigars better than my old foam trays. i sent them an e-mail asking how to buy some of the new trays. Josh Richardson, sales manager, asked me for my address and just sent me some FOR FREE. That was awesome! He also told me that the Cigar Caddys have a lifetime warranty which I did not know about either. Don't think I'll need it, though, these things are tough. Kudos to Cigar Caddy!

And your experience doesn't surprise me. Jamie and Josh are good men so it stands to reason the Cigar Caddy is a good company.

I'm not looking for freebies, but how do I know if I have the newer trays or not? I purchased an 18-ct. from cigarsolutions.com, and it's a model 5000.

On a related note, that's for the post; this is my first humi, and I'm glad to see the company can back me up if anything goes wrong.

I also have the model 5000. My first post was wrong, it WAS actually a 24 ct. With the new trays it makes it an 18ct., but the cigars look like they'll be protected better.

Exactly what I've got. I emailed them as well to inquire about the replacement trays.

Hmmm... I just purchased a 15ct and mine came with the old trays. Maybe I'll send them an email...

My thinking is, maybe the 5, 10, and 15 ct. come with different style trays, or, depending where you bought it from, you might have gotten old stock or an older model #. I'm sure they'll help you out either way.

Re: Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

Well, according to the image gallery on their site, the 5 and 10 ct. come w/ old style trays. There were no pics for the 15 ct., so i must just then assume that they also come w/ the old style trays.

Re: Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

The 5, 10 and 15 ct boxes come with the thinner foam as the boxes are smaller. The 18 and 30 ct come with the new sturdier foam.
I used to carry the 15ct with me and when the 18 was released I switched to that one, it is a much bigger box even though it is listed as only 3 cigars larger.

Re: Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

I also have had a great experience with Josh from Cigar Caddy. I have had a 5 Cigar Caddy for five or six years. I was loading my car up one day and my caddy got caught and wedged and long story short I broke the lanyard. I continued to use it for a while and then I found Cigar Caddy's webpage and blasted off an email. I received an immediate response. Josh sent me a brand new redesigned caddy, no questions asked. They are a real class operation and I won't hesitate to buy their products again.

Re: Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

You guys have no idea how lucky I am to have Josh working for me. I really couldn't be more proud than I was when I read this thread. Thanks for the great replies. We strive for customer service at Cigar Caddy, but please don't tell Josh that he did a good job because he might want a raise

Re: Great Cigar Caddy customer service experience

the 5, 10, and 15 Caddy all have the same trays. Even with redesigns and improvements to the cases, the trays have remained pretty much the same over the years. The larger Caddy's have foam trays that are similar looking, but these trays are bigger in size, a little thicker, and a little more firm to support your cigars.

some of you have purchased improved Cigar Caddy trays from me. I have small improved trays to fit the 5,10, and 15 Cigar Caddy. I also have large, improved trays to fit the New (and Old model) Cigar Caddy 18.

The Cigar Caddy brand is all that we need for our cigars.

There are plans for the ultimate travel case, but you'll have to wait and see. It's top secret for now....
