Just Bought Tower of Power Humidor

Just bought the Tower of Power Humidor. Now I am looking into the best way to control the humidification. Any recommedations form current owners?

Get yourself a couple punds of 65% beads and a couple fans to circulaate the air and you will be set.

I would use a combination of passive and active humidification. Like an Oasis and beads.

2-3 Pounds of beads spread throughout and a few OUST fans to circulate air and humidity, atleast thats how I roll

I have a Tower of Power and I use a combo of an Oasis and beads. It stays right about 67%.

I use a cigar oasis in the large bottom area,and I have two pounds of 65% beads in the upper part.I bought the beads in bulk and put them in 1/2 pound bags on each of the shelves.Works like a champ! I also have two oust fans in the upper part. I like the cigar oasis because the fan comes on right away after opening the door.It will usually go about two or three weeks between wetting the beads. I also have a hygometer on each of the shelves and it hols a steady 63-64% throughout the whole thing.

I have one myself and it seals so well that one hydra does the job by itself. I know it should only work for a unit half that size... but like I said it seals damn well.

One of the best humis out there. I would love an aristocrat but they are just too pricey for me.

I actually use ONLY beads in my 3 cabs. No fans, no active just beads. I keep a hygro and 1 lb of beads per shelf and each shelf/drawer stays about 65% +/- 1%. The lifespan of beads will FAR outlast any active system. Just my BTW congrats on your First Cab ;someday you'll look back and remember when you only had 1
