Hygrometer seal paranoid! I found a Solution....

As you know, i bought the Salerno from TampaHumidor.com and i have read 2 reviews where people complain about the and seal on the hygro.

I don't think mine is leaking, but i want to be safe, not sorry!!!

Well, i COULD have used acylic liquid bead seamer to fix it but i doubted my confidence in not making it look schlocky.

So what did i do? i bought a huge rubber cork to put in behind the hygro... yes it will render the hygro useless.... but i do have multiple digital hygros that will suffice

Heres the humi.

Heres the idea.

and the link.... (they make them in any size too)

Why not just seal it with ordorless silicon and have the center open for the hygro? Yeah, it won't be as cheap, but it'll look a hell of a lot nicer.

i adressed that issue. I'm not looking to do that, sorry. It would be cheaper actually... but i dont want to deal with messy liquids.

i siliconed it behind the face (where the face meets th eoutside of the humidor) and inside the hole behind the very back of the hygro....

You could just get a huge humidor for the smaller humidor to sit in....
