Cooler Help!
I am looking for a cooler but have limited space. Max space i have: 13.5" Wide x 15" High x 18.5" Deep. I found a mini travel fridge and was wondering if you guys could help me figure out how many cigars it would hold. Check out pic below for the one i'm looking at.
Thanks, Craig Heres the link if the pic does not work: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/car/6ad2/images/ |

Re: Cooler Help!
a fridge will DEHUMIDIFY anything inside if the refrigeration is working.
You want a box, I think. A cooler is a fine idea. Tom

Re: Cooler Help!
Might be able to get quite a few in there if you get these to fit.
http://www.cheaphumidors.com/Merchan...duct_Code=TRAY Dimensions pretty close, you'd really hafta try one to see. But, yes, you'd really hafta be careful about running it- keep a real close look at the humidity in there. If it does have a variable temperature switch, I Imagine keeping it at 70-75 degrees wouldn't dry out your stogies too much, but Tom is correct to issue the caveat! |

Re: Cooler Help!
Ya i know that refrigerators dehumidify. This is a thermoelectric portable fridge. I email them and they said it was they just didn't put it in the description. I would go with a vinotemp or any wine cooler but there about 3 inches to deep. If your all wondering why i have so specific dimensions is because i'm putting it in my computer desk. Trying to keep it hidden from the parent who discourage this fine hobby.
If any of you have any other ideas or cabinet type cooling devices to keep them cool during the summer would help me a ton. Thanks, Craig |

Re: Cooler Help!
Buy a basic, ordinary cooler and keep it in a cool/dry space. Throw some beads into it for humidification and you're set. Buying a small fridge doesn't make much sense when a regular cooler will work just fine.
