I just saw an ad for this thing on the elevator ride up to my office this morning. Looks pretty nifty and much better than letting your cigar roll around in the golf cart or putting it out on the greens while you hit. It attaches to your golfbag.

check out your local golf retailer, I bought a cigar holder at Golftown which is an actual clip, so it holds your cigar securely in place, and attaches to wherever, golf bag, or right on the cart.

I've had one for two years, they are awesome!

Nope. It's called The Grip Clip. They work very well but I don't mind just laying down or putting the cigar on the cart somewhere.

Hahahahah - No kiddin....I don't golf much these days and I too am horrible at it. But I did hit a hole in one once on Hole #7 at Pebble Beach! Total fluke.

Hello all! I invented the HeaterHolder, and have gotten a kick out of reading this thread. I'd like to reply to a couple of comments. First: If it's the price that is keeping you from getting one...........I suggest googling for it. We've got a number of on-line dealers and local tobacconists that stock the stainless steel model, and sell for less than what we do on our site. We don't discount, but many of them do. Second: have no fear of your bag catching fire. The cigar is on a tangent to the golf bag, so the tip should never come into contact w/ the bag. Believe me, we've already sold thousands, plus our own (extensive) "field testing". We've never come close to a fire issue, and I've never heard of anyone else coming close either. Finally, I know there are other holders on the market, but ours is made in the USA, from solid stainless steel (not plastic or wood). It will never burn, break or rust, -guaranteed. In our short time on the market, we've gotten great reviews from Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Advisor, Stogie Guys etc. Check out our site: www.heaterholder.com to read them.

No cigar holder is perfect, but if you ever get a heaterholder, I know you'll like it.

The Cigar Minder works well too. Big clip clamps to almost anything but the cigar holding clip is gentle enough for most sticks.

I've seen them at B&Ms for about $7-$10 (they're also at CI and occasionally pop up on the devil site), which is good because if you've clipped it onto the golf cart instead of your golf bag the solid black color blends in and makes it easy to forget at the end of the round. Not that I would know!
