Palio?

Has anyone had an issue with a Palio cutter getting dull? Mine just does not seem that sharp anymore. I have a hard time cutting with it and it leaves a bit of a hump in the middle of the cut. Cuts are not as clean as they used to be.

Press slightly downward through the cigar and the hump will dissapear. If you have a problem, pm OpuxEx. He is the owner and will make any issue you have dissapear.

Similar issues here. However, cleaning it did help to cut more effectively. Will have to try to push down when cutting to remove the "hump".

Re: Palio?

I’ve only had mine several months and haven’t had any problems, but from what I hear, Palio has excellent customer service and I’m sure they will take care of you.

Believe it or not, they are dishwasher safe. You can at least clean all the built up oils that are on the blades.

I like the dishwasher idea, might have to give that one a try. Last time I cleaned mine it was with q-tips and alcohol. I think the dishwasher would be much easier.

Also, I tried NCRadioMan's suggestion and pushed down just a little when I cut my cigar this evening and sure enough, no hump. No more camel cigars

Re: Palio?

The great thing about Palio is that you can bring the cutter back to a Palio retailor and get a new one because it has a lifetime warranty....At least mine came with one
