Humidity question for Aristocrat owners..

An Aristocrat is a goal of mine some day in the future. I have read a lot of threads the past couple of months about people having trouble maintaining humidity in their desktop humidors, I have experienced the same myself. Winter seems to be taking a toll on the humidity in the air.

My question, those of you who have non temperature controlled Aristocrats, with the "Set and Forget" humidification system is, are you having any trouble with humidity like a lot of the rest of us are.

I assume the answer to be no, because I have never read anything about it from anyone. But I wanted to toss that question out there before I some day invest in an Aristocrat.

I have an Aristocrat Mini with the Set and Forget humidification system (non temperature controlled). I got it more than 1 year ago. The humidity has always been right at 65% corroborated by two digital hygrometers in different areas of the humidor. I also have some 65% beads inside. You won't be dissappointed if you invest in one of these humidors. They are superb.

I have had my M+ for more than 2 years - other one time the alarm going off when I didn't notice the wells wet dry, I have never had a problem with humidity

I am filling the water resevoir more often during the winter months with the furnace running...maybe once a month. But it holds my desired RH (63%) like a rock.

The set and forget fans kick on when the desired humdity that you have set drops more than 2%. My Plus 48 holds 64% consistently.

No problems at all. No beads. Set at 64%. Like Tom said, you do have to check more often this time of year, I fill the reservoir a bit higher so I don't have to add as often.

Re: Humidity question for Aristocrat owners..

Thanks for your replies. I had thought that would most likely be the case, or I would have been reading things to the contrary.

One less worry when I slide farther down the slope.
