Great review Rob. Too bad about the refilling/bleeding issue. Hopefully that was just an issue with that lighter.

Nice review Rob. I had been wondering how well a beast that large would function. Let us know if they are able to fix the fuel issue. With that large capacity, a lot of fuel (not to mention time) would be wasted.

Question on the logo... Your review mentioned it was engraved, which is much better than painted, stenciled, or a sticker. Since the warranty doesn't cover the logo, I wanted to get your opinion of if degaradation of the artwork over time appeared to be a non-issue?

I was concerned about this issue too Mike. In looking at it more closely it seems to be a combination of painting and engraving. The logo sits up a bit off the lighter but not much. I tried to pick at one of the edges with my fingernail and it seems to be very solid so I think it will last. Especially, if you store it in the box between uses. For the sake of accuracy I will try emailing Lotus to see if they will tell me a bit more about it.

The only thing that makes me worry a bit about the logo's durability is that I have seen one of these lying around at my local B&M (with a different pattern) that is badly chipped. But who knows how long they have had it and it surely takes much more abuse in a store. I will do a follow up review in a few months to let you know how it is holding up.
