Tiger Perfecta No Flame Butane Lighter

Has anyone used the new Tiger Perfecta cigar lighters? These are unique in that they have no flame. When you click on the switch, a slide opens exposing a small burner that looks like a small white lightbulb which shoots out a stream of heat with no visible flame. I found it at my local brick and mortar store and the owner said it works as well as a standard flame except that it uses much less butane.

The world of cigars is an interesting place!

Have a good evening everyone,
Don

That sounds interesting, would love to see how it works. Sounds like it may be similar to some older lighters that I had that work by a battery heating up a small coil. They were marketed as 'wind-proof' back in the late 80's/early 90's.

Wouldn't that be like lighting a cigar with a blowdryer??
