Lotus lighters

I'm currently using/selling mostly Colibri lighters, but based on our history with these, I'm converting to Xikar. Don't get me wrong here, I've been happy with the service I've received from Colibri - they fix all the lighters I have to send them. I'm just getting sick of sending them in! So far, I haven't had any problems with Xikar.
Lotus lighters look like a good value, and I've heard good things about their quality. Does anyone have experience with Lotus lighters? Anyone have long-term experience with them?

I have a xikar double, and its the most reliable lighter out there IMHO.

I've been using Lotus lighters for a couple of years now and have had tons of success with them. We sold an a$$ load of them and only had a couple returned. I'm not a big Xikar lighter fan, but that's just me. Lotus lighters for FAR BETTER than any Colibri, and they are a little less expensive.

I've had one for about 6 months and I love it! No problems whatsoever.

Lotus and Xikar are great lighters. Can't go wrong with either one.

I had a Lotus that I got for about $30-$40 but it broke within 2 months. Now I'm just using this cheap plastic thing that works AMAZINGLY. I am however, waiting for one of those online stores to offer a great deal on a table top lighter because I do want one of those.

What happened to Colibri? The last couple I bought seem rather cheesy. Not like they were years ago. Just curious if they changed where they manufacture them?

I'm not sure. I had always heard good things about them. We picked up the line about a year ago, and I've already had to send a bunch(maybe 10 or 12 lighters) back for warranty work. Like I said, their customer service has been very good.

I have a couple of Lotus table lighters (for about 4 months now) and have not had any problems with them. Have refilled both and they are working great.

I have used Colibri Firebirds since they came out and I have had no problems...Plus the best part is, if you lose one or give it away or if it plain breaks, it was only $10-12 anyway, so no big loss!

As a side note, I just picked up a Lotus Table Lighter (massive flip top) for $59.95 for my cigar rolling shows, and it kicks butt!!! A triple flame that will light any cigars in literally 2 seconds. It's my new favorite!
