Xicar cutter

does anyone else have a problem with thier Xicar not cutting straight? Mine does not seem to cut straight across, but seems to leave a hump in the middle. Is it me or the cutter? I have no problems with my other cutters.

I don't have any problems with this.

Do you apply downward pressure - pushing the cigar and the blade towards each other? If not, this should help.

Thanks, I'll gove that a go. I can see where that would help.

I have the same problem occasionally. I'll try Bill's suggestion next time.

Same traffic. I'll try the recommendation and see if that works. Never stopped me from smoking, though.
