Tatuaje Black Robusto "Signed"??

I saw this on fleabay. The seller says that the box is "signed" but I think it's just printed on. I didn't see anywhere on the sellers description that it was printed.

I have the exact same box and it has a signature on it, but I don't think Pete actually signed every single one of them.

What do you guys think?

I have no idea if its a real sig or not, but i wouldnt mind getting what's inside the box.

I e-mailed the seller, and he/she says "i'm pretty sure it's signed by pete himself".

Anyone else pick up one of these? do you think it's "signed"?

When i saw the one we picked up at that tat event i thought it was printed. I doubt he would have signed all of those boxes.

BTW Compare the signature on his the yours, if they look pretty much the same its more then likely printed. I doubt he could resign those the boxes the same way every time

they look the same. this guy has 100% feedback, that's why i e-mailed him. i didn't want him to tarnish his rep on something so stupid, BUT the buyer has already bid $60. I don't think each robusto is worth $20, so i know he/she is bidding because they think it's an actual autograph.

OR.... the person bidding isn't as smart about cigars as all these fine botl/sotl here so they might just be bidding thinking it's a good deal. i mean come on, how many times have we seen people bidding ridiculous prices @ the devil site.

Yeah, thats too bad. Its buyer discretion when purchasing items at auction. I sure wouldnt pay $20+ a stick for those but someone sure would

Here's my $.02:

1) It IS printed - I have 2 boxes of them
2) The guy got them for FREE and should be giving them away, if he is a true BOTL. I emailed him and he told me he was having some financial issue, which I can appreciate (recently sold stuff here to pay for baby stuff, but never sold stuff I got for free!)

But hey, good luck to the guy...Interesting to see how much these go for, if Ebay doesn't close his auction first!

Ebay won't close it. it's "ok" since it's for a collectors item.

I didn't post this for people to come down on the guy. we're all feelin the pinch right now because of the economy. We don't know his situation, so lets not get negative about him. lets concentrate on finding out if this box is signed for real or not.

#2 of my $.02 was that I emailed him stating that, to which he told me he had financial trouble, which I then responded about my own sales.

Truth be told, Pete didn't magically sign every box with the exact matching replica signature...it is printed.
