Nope, only reason I did on the the other forum is because they thought I had an agenda. I don't know how me being stupid with a post would make someone think I had an agenda. I was laughing my ass off though because they were taking it so seriously.

Hopefully honesty will prevail in your communications within the forum going forward. I hope you enjoy the palio.

Your problem was lying and trying to make fools of an entire forum.

As we can see, he has learned his lesson and is well on his way to establishing himself as a respected member in this forum as well.

What have I done here that is so bad. I told the truth about why I changed my name. Because everyone thought I had some sort of crazy agenda like a conspiracy theory or something. I don't understand how I made an entire forum look like idiots. Honestly all I wanted to do with that post was spark up some heated conversation with some Palio lovers. I was going to take that post in a complete different direction but it was taken way too seriously. I didnt know people felt so strongly towards their Palios.

It's not the Palio's that made people upset, it was that you came into the forum and did not give anyone a chance to help you, you lied right off the bat. On a forum you have to earn trust it is just given to you. sorry, I really don't know what else to tell you.

I was'nt really lying though. Well technically I did. I just didnt feel like adding to the post that this happend to a friend at my B&M and a friend from another forum. Both had Palio's that came off their tracks however they found out it was because they had a older batch and Palio replaced theirs for free plus payed for their shipping. In the end, that's why I ordered a Palio because even if it breaks I can always return it for a brand new one. Personally I have never cut with it but I am looking forward to because of all the hype.

Also I forgot to add. Another reason I started those posts is because I am so tired of hearing person after person say Palio cutters are the BEST out their just because they own one. I am sure 99% of those people saying it's the best cutter out their have not tried every single cutter available. You should'nt say something's the best unless you have the research to back it up. PLEASE PEOPLE, DONT SAY ITS THE BEST JUST BECAUSE IT'S THE CUTTER YOU HAPPEN TO OWN.

In the end, I can't wait untill I get my Palio Cutter. I ordered the carbon fiber one because I honestly think the black one looks cheap. This will be the first good cutter I have owned since I started smoking.

Those of you who belong to the other forum I would like to say I'm sorry if I was a asshole and I now understand the cigar community is a little different from other communities (in a good way).

Re: Where should I order a Palio?

Well I hope you like your new cutter, I never had one or used one. As long as mine cuts the cap I'm fine with those cheap ones. But you know what I really might be missing out on something.

Good luck and be cool, its just the internet.

Re: Where should I order a Palio?

Thinking that all Palio zealots are fanboys is like thinking that all Xikar lovers are Palio haters - that's just too simplistic, and pointless. As piperman said, in this type of forum trust and respect are earned, and what you mean as some harmless jabs may seem like a challenge to those who don't know you. And dishonesty isn't well tolerated, even if not malicious. Better to be patient and get to know the culture before stirring things up.

The bottom line is you'll like the Palio, and you'd probably like a Xikar too. They're both good cutters. While there is a lot of chatter about how this cutter or that one is the best ever, you've got to figure that if a $35+ cutter gets that many thumbs up it can't all be hyperbole.
