I had my first V-cut last night actually on a very good Casa Magna. I enjoyed it a lot but maybe not quite as much still as a straight cut. Bullet cut would definitely be third on the list as I never can seem to get the ample draw that I enjoy -matt

I, too, am a V-cut fan. I've tried all three. The straight cut, I can never get right. Maybe it's just me, but I still can't get it right. The punch is my second favorite - crisp and clean.

It depends on the cigar. Belicoso V, smaller RG, straight, large RG, punch.

I used to use a punch alot till i started smoking torpedos....kinda tuff to punch a torpedo! So i switched to straight cut. Ive never tried the V cut.

My first cutter was a punch, then an inexpensive double blade. Both did the job but at times the punch left me wanting more draw; the db destroyed a cap once in a while. I bought a V and it was simple to use. Then I bought an Xikar. I use it now. Prefer the full cut.
