I just got a humi from Cheaphumidors.com via Ebay.

I made a mistake on my shipping address, and the guys over there were very helpful in getting my mistake corrected in a timely manner.

I will definately do business with them again!!

Just for the record, I emailed you at 7:17pm and posted here at 7:28pm.

I was going to wait until I actually got the humidor and post the results. I was hoping you would include return shipping. You didn't say so in your email.

The "knee-jerk" reaction is called "bait and switch." It is a common practice amongst unscrupulous people. Apparently, you are not one of those people. I didn't know that. That is why I posted here. I couldn't imagine how something so simple could be screwed up, especially with a first-time customer. But I guess (sh)it happens.

So, I've got 18 really good cigars and 15 more coming on Friday. They all long to be humidified properly. That is why I ordered the humidor before I ordered any cigars.

You say you ain't perfect; I'll be the first to admit I'm not either.

For the record, I ordered a humidor 2 months ago from CheapHumidors and it has performed flawlessly. It's a nice addition to my bar....get compliments on it all the time. Would not hesitate to order another one from Dave.

My main humi is from there and it has worked flawlessly from day one. No problems. This is a highly regarded website around here. I'm glad, but not at all surprised that they stepped up and made it right.

You know, I don't know what broke down in their inventory system and I really don't want to know. That's THEIR BUSINESS. It is a very simple process to see if the effing Part # on the order is the same Part # on the box. But that's their problem; not mine.

Dude, everyone makes mistakes unless your going to sit here and tell me you never do. The fact of the matter is cheaphumidors.com fixed your problem. If they didn't fix it then yes, I would be on here bitching about it. It's really not that big a deal.

You really are being an idiot about this. Dave has said he will make it right and yet you childishly insist on bringing up a retort to everyone's posts. Emailing a vendor on the weekend is not a particularly effective way of seeking resolution. Coming to a forum to complain without giving him a chance to respond or resolve a $35 problem seems a bit extreme.

Agreed I think the general experience with cheaphumidors for everyone has been great.I know I bought a large Humidor from them and it got a tiny ding during shipping. They were so great to offer a discount or to return for a replacement. It meant alot to see such wonderful customer service.

I also see when your so want your new humi and waiting for it like a kid on christmas. It can very upsetting and frustrating to get the wrong one and have to wait all over. It can make a person lash out.

I also can see his point on the complaint of price or make an offer. He made an offer very close to the asking price and had to pay the full amount. If your make that option available and a person offers you just shy or the original asking price and you still say no. Then why have option to make an offer?

Well I am sorry you had a bad experiance from one of the vendors here. I have seen many problems that have been completely taken care of in short order given the chance.

Its your order and your money so you have every right to be upset but you also have to know you are going to get a responce you may not expect when there are many here you have had perfect orders with them.



Its been resolved so sit back and enjoy this hobby..its suppose to be relaxing.

Actually, he made an offer for close to the asking price, and the offer WAS accepted.

Anways, a new unit was sent with a return label. It shows it was delivered yesterday. I email Michael to make sure everything was ok with the order and haven't heard back yet. Hopefully we can put this to rest
