Re: air purifiers
I actually got 3 purifiers in my basement, which has no windows. If you allow time, the sharper image with the ozone guard really gets the job done, but I have 2 fan- driven purifiers with hepa on them to really clean faster. There's a trick though. Many people don't know this- the hepas are ok, but to make them effective, get carbon mesh and place it in front of the filter. Its actually traps the smoke MUCH better. (You can find it at Lowes for 8.00) When all 3 are on, I have 4 people smoking without eye irritation. Its worth doing this. My purifiers are across the room from eachother. You do need to replace the mesh every few times, though. They don't need to be expensive filters either. Hope this helps!

Re: air purifiers
Ozone generators work like a champ....we use them at the hotel when guests smoke in the rooms (hotel is 100% non smoking). Does the trick every time.
