Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

Just ordered the 5 and 15. The 5 will be nice out at the lake on the boat and the 15 for trips. Also got the Zippo case. For $6.50 what the heck.

I have a 15er and love it. It's great for traveling and keeps everything nice and safe.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I have a 3 finger case I take on the motorcycle for day trips but was thinking of picking up one of the 10ct cases myself for vacation. After reading these tips the 15ct seems to be a good bet with the extra room for cutter & lighter if your not taking the full 15. Thanks for this thread Jeff . Helped me out too.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

The best selling Cigar Caddys are either the 10 count or the 15 count. I like the 2 count myself, but Im in the minority section I guess.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I'd just get the 15. I usually pack around that many smokes anyway. You never know what mood you're gonna be in.

Also, refer to my sig.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I have the 15 ct and take out the foam so I can fit bigger ring gauge cigars if I want to.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I have a few of these - they work great. A couple of times I've been on the road and ended up with another caddy, full of sticks of course.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

Another inexpensive travel humi is a Lock and Lock container. It's a tupperware with a lid that snaps on. $2.97 at Wal-Mart for the rectangular 3.8 cup size. I can fit about 6-7 cigars, lighter and cutter and a hum pack in there and it's long enough to fit lanceros.

No foam to protect anything but it works great for herfs, and the price is right!

I've seen and used those, too - excellent idea.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I tried to post this yesterday but apparently it didn't feel like going through. I have the 5 ct and bought one for my buddy as part of a house warming gift. I have had several chances to use it and it has worked great. Kept everything fresh and secure. I have alternated between using the foam humidifier it comes with and just using one of those boeva packet things. Although I can only really use those if I just recently ordered cigars online as the smaller ones that are typically used for shipping work great in here.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I need to get one of those, I've been using an aluminum lock case I got from Thompson with a sampler pack. It works ok but I would really like one that has a humidifer in it. In those herf travel cases you guys are discussing, do they come with built in humidifiers? How well do they work? Thanks.

I have the 5 ct cigar caddy, but I have used these too to pack extra sticks. I find that a couple of pieces of bubble wrap cut to size helps cushion the ride in the cheap plastic container.

Re: Who has a Cigar Caddy?

I have a 2, 5, 10 & 15 count caddy.
I most all the time use the 15 count.
I usually want to have a nice variety with me in case I change my mind on what to smoke.
Also, If I run into people and I start gifting/trading I want to still have enough smokes to smoke what I want not what I am left with.

They are great and come in handy.
I am thinking of getting a bigger one.
