Dual Flame Lighters

Hi Fellow Fishies,

I'm interested in a good quality torch/soft flame lighter. I like to toast with a torch, but prefer to light with a soft flame. Trouble is, unless I'm at home, I never have access to a soft flame, since all I carry is my torch.

Can you please recommend a good dual flame?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Dual Flame Lighters

Hi, I found a very cheap lighter on e-bay that is both a torch and flame lighter. I use it, but it's not the best quality but at the price you could buy several!
Can't post links yet, but

stores DOT shop DOT ebay DOT com /Ahai006

Of course, no spaces and the dots are "." dots. Hope that helps.

This subject really get's me going!!!! The fact is, I have never owned a single "dual-flame" lighter which did not eventually break. I have gone through every brand and a range of price levels. Maybe i'm unlucky or something but (having just thrown out another one 2 days ago)- I'll never pay more then $25.00 for any type of lighting apparatus again!

But good luck to you.

Actaully, I really appreciate your post. It's this stuff that I need to read and be made aware of. The lighter Im using now is actually the first torch that's kept running for me. I am still skeptical about all of them, but this one wasn't cheap, but inexpensive, so I rolled the dice. Again, if there's an endemic problem with dual flames, I need to know. Thanks.
