Heartfelt Beads
So I have a question.
Can I pull the foam out of my humidifiers and put heartfelt beads in them? I'm not currently full but I would rather use the location for the humidifier rather than put 2 tubes in the humi. The measurements for my humi say that I need 4oz for volume of 2160. Thanks Steve |

Re: Heartfelt Beads
you may want to put them into a nylon so they dont fall through the cracks in the humidifier (depending on the type you have).

Re: Heartfelt Beads
From what I know. Yes you can. The humidifiers I have had in the past with the foam pop apart pretty easy. You may want to use a mesh bag or screen of the sort. From what I know if you get them too wet they may crack but still work fine. The screen or mesh bag just keeps everything held in place.
Also I dont even have beads so you may want to take some others word and not mine. I just read a lot. Thanks Lance Last edited by bigtattoo79; 08-04-2009 at 11:09 PM.. |

Thank you for that link, I'm thinking when I get the money I'm going to try that out. Being that I'm on a very tight budget and there is already a spot for the humidifiers I'd prefer to use the space and whatever pieces I can from my current setup. Steve |

Re: Heartfelt Beads
I just bought another half pound of beads and 2ft of nylon mesh from wally world for $.32. I had a friend sew up four nice mesh bags and still have most my mesh left. In an existing humidifier, Id suggest using this mesh and some two sided tape to hold it in place.
