I know its probably a trade secret and blah blah blah, but care to give a hint as to the process? Looks like you just tacked the cigar bands onto the zippo then applied a clearcoat. Looks like a fun project if I can get the cash for another zippo =D

How do they hold up to wear & tear Squid???

But to be honest, that's a pretty steep price for me... & this is coming from a guy who owns a $150 cutter, $200 leather case, & a $100 Japanese Zippo... I'll drop some $$$ on some good acessories. I'm not trying to criticize you or anything, so I'm sorry if I'm coming off that way... They really do look great Squid.

I'd like to do my Ronson, but... Then I'd have a $64 Jet Lite!!!! Kinda defeats the purpose. If it were half that, I'd probably jump on it.

I wonder how Opus bands would work out???

Look at my.inbox.com/photos/architeuthis for pics of lots of things I did. There is an OpusX zippo there too. I carry it around every day. After two years in the pocket with my car keys I did have to strip it and re-coat it, but it held up for two years of rough use...
