Hope Chest Humi questions
Hi Folks
Just a quick question. The Mrs has a Cherry wood hope chest that I am thinking of converting into a large Hummi. My concern is the Cherry,,,,,Has anyone used one for a Hummi,,,,,or should I just go the Cooler,Spanish Cedar route Thanks for your time Al |

Re: Hope Chest Humi questions
You could line the inside of the box with cedar. Might get expensive depending on the size.

Re: Hope Chest Humi questions
I;ve never heard of cherry being used in the inside of a humidor before, if I were you I'd cut and glue 1\2" spanish cedar around the inside, and seal the top with fish tank sealer to make sure you have a nice fit. You could also take the spanish cedar and build a few shelves/trays etc if you're so inclined.
