Re: 120 qt Coolador HELP!!!!
You should be fine. Do your beads look milky white or very clear? Sounds like it is just not humid enough in there. Give your beads a sprits and see if it hleps level it out. But make sure your beads need it. If they are clear that means you should be good to go.

Re: 120 qt Coolador HELP!!!!
Just mist them lightly until you get some more beads and monitor the RH. RH will drop faster until you get the optimum amount of beads. Heartfelt has a calculator to help you do this:
Heartfelt Industries Cigar Humidifiers and Accessories Probably wouldn't have any problem at 62% for a short while, but I'd mist them just a tad. Turn them clear in color. Good Luck! |

Re: 120 qt Coolador HELP!!!!
You've got MORE than enough beads. I have 3/4 lb. in my 120 qt cooler and it can go for months without a recharge.
I have 2 oust fans in there but that doesn't affect your humidity %. Mine is also filled with many cedar trays and boxes so that is helping to regulate as well. |

Re: 120 qt Coolador HELP!!!!
I have a 120 with 1 lb of beads.
I had to put a piece of weather strip around the lid cut for the handle. There was an air gap molded in to ease opening and closing. Broke down some cigar boxes and laid in a floor. I keep almost everything in scavenged cigar boxes. Once they stabilized I've hardly had to charge the beads. It is almost full and I don't open it very often.
