Question Attaching a Heartfelt bead tube to the lid of the humidor?

I bought one of the heartfelt bead tubes

and want to attach it to the lid of my humi.

Ideas ?

I was thinking of velcroing it, but I am not sure if the velcro glues will adhere to the wood well (permanently).

Of course it has to be service removeable.

Thanks!

I think that would work. I believe they have different strength adhesive versions you can get. I'd use 2 attach points, one on each blue cap. I just attached a hygrometer to my lid and had to reposition the magnet you stick to the lid and it was stuck on pretty good. I had to carefully use an xacto knife to get it off, but then it re-stuck just fine.

I actually have two different types of their adhesive non-porous velcro. One is high strength adhesive and the other is a regular strength.

The only thing is that wood doesnt have very good adhesive properties (especially when wet/moist), and when the velcro is for non-porous materials.

Maybe someone will come along that has done it and can give you their $.02. I know what you mean about the wood, but mine seems like it has a very smooth suface. I'd give it a try, and if it doesn't work, go to Plan B.
