v cutter recomendations

Any good vcutters out there that dont cost an arm and a leg and will stay sharp? I love to use the V cutter on torpedos and just lost my Boston V pocket cutter. Best dam cutter but cost a bit of coin and you dont really ever see them on sale.

Here's a thread that discussed this just a couple of days ago. If you don't want to spend the money for the boston, the wolf seems to be the next best thing.

Black Wolf V-Cutter - Tampa Humidor

They are only $9.95 at Tampa Humidor. The Boston V Cutter is now up to about $169 and if you don't lose it they will last a lifetime and that is with the guarantee. Sorry you lost yours Cigarlvr, that would make me sick!

The Classic Boston V Cutter will run you about $600.

Has any members that our store owners ever consider a group buy and would that drop the prices some?

Re: v cutter recomendations

Ha! I had been waiting to buy one of these cause I didn't want to pay $9 shipping for a $10 cutter.

I figured I would wait until I was getting something else yadee yadee... but the places I have been ordering from don't carry these Wolfs... and it's been MONTHS since we all had that conversation about em and Frank posted pics of them for Bill (GlockG23)

Wolf V-Cutter review w/pics for GlockG23

The last straw was last Monday the cheap v-cutter I had been surviving with messed up a wrapper........ so I almost ordered one last night ..... but still couldn't bring myself to eat the stinking shipping!! Hahaaahaahaahaaahaahaaahaaa!!!

So finally early this morning, without having read this post I finally pulled the trigger on a couple of them.

But, if a group buy happens I will still probably be interested cause these make awesome gifts!!!

Howz that for much ado about nothing?

Re: v cutter recomendations

I picked up 2 from GASP...Thompsons for under 20 shipped to my door.

They are for someone else but I have thought about picking up one for me later on.

Maybe we could get Rod to work out a group buy with his B&M. $5.95 is the best price I've seen for a Wolf V-Cutter. I'm sure shipping will be less than $2.50 USPS.
