Still waiting for humidor

The wife says its been 3 weeks since she was contacted for her address to receive the humidor she won from c.i.

Still nothing........

Another layer to my list on why I do not like c.i., cbid.

I know its free, but we are not patient when it comes to promises. If we won, send it out, dont keep us fretting about it. Its these little things that get my motor revving. We take these things somehow personally.
Any excuse or reason for this at this point is unacceptable, and I wish if they could, would just cancell the order. If I want another humidor I would buy one.

But my wife was so excited to the max, to have won something for me. I think it was the first time since snaring me, that she has won anything she has been so excited award.

She has won so many educational awards and has been feted, but I have never seen her so happy and the smiles on her face for a thirty or fourty dollar humidor.
Every day, she calls me at lunch at work, to see if anything up. I know what shes really asking is if the ups or fedex man has paid a visit.

Much regards Jerry

Call em Jerry and ask to speak to a supervisor about this. 3 weeks is much too long to be waiting on something that was promised. I am like you in this regard and when something is promised to you then they have put their word and integrity on the line and it becomes about the principle.

I am glad you understand Gary.
To me, the most important thing a man has is his word. I know I have spoken on this before, but all a man really has in this world, that can never be taken away is his word. Honor, integrity, committment, good faith, and honesty. If a person doesnt have these things, they cannot be my friend.
It doesnt mean I will not like them, or be neighborly, but they cannot be my friend.
Call me up in the middle of the night, 300 miles a way in a storm because you are in trouble, I will be there. No excuses. If I cant be there, I will state why, and it better be a darn good reason, and not a lie, or being lazy. I cannot except anything less from myself.
I do not expect any less from a friend. Friends are hard to come by, and far and few between. Plus at my age(62) I am loseing them to the great beyond.
I have a hard time dealing with things or people that have no honor or committment, and I know this is a harsh way to live, but I have lived in certain ways a harsh life when I am out of my home.
An easygoing life inside my home, with a dedicated and honrorable wife.
Now I am not a fool, and realize its just a humidor we are speaking about. But there is someone behind this committment, who is not being prompt in their honoring of this.
That is why c.i., cbid, cigar.com, can never have my business ever again.

Much regards Jerry

Definitely give them a call. CI has always been good to me. I can't imagine them denying you if you give them a call.

Yes, call them and ask, this is way out of line, if they can't honor their commitments on a promotion, they shouldn't run the promotion.
