My First Humidor

Hey everyone, my 25 count humidor from Cubancrafters.com arrived a few days ago, and has just recently finished seasoning. I was amazed at how good looking this was once I opened the box. The pictures on the website did not justify it's beauty. Now I just have to fill her up, once I get the money.



Also, the temperature is a little high, around 78 degrees, any tips on bringing that down? I already tried moving it to other areas of the house.

Looks nice. I give it a week before you fill it and you're looking for more space! Any plans for what you're going to fill it with?

I might get a couple of 5 packs of my favorites so far. I'm new to cigars, but my favorites so far are a CAO Brazilia, Oliva V, Ambos Mundos, Padron 2000, and Partagas Black. I'm going back to the shop today maybe try something new.

Most of the time, when you first season the humi, it is a bit high on rh. Leave the humidor open with a piece of pen or lighter about an inch or so for about a half hour. Close then recheck the next day. (Do not opne till the next day. ) If still too high, repeat. It make take 3 or 4 days. Once its down to at least 72 ro a day or two, add your cigars. They will bring it down another 3 ro 4 rh.

Nice start on the humidor. Like the others said give it a week or so, temperature and humidity should level it self out.
