Re: New family members ...

Very nice, I was looking at a Palio but found a good deal on a xikar cutter.

Re: New family members ...

Have not owned a Xikar lighter, but do own a Palio cutter. Still have a few Xikar cutters, but always seem to grab for the Palio. I only wish it weren't cheap plastic, maybe they'll make an all-metal Palio some day. Enjoy the Palio.

Re: New family members ...

Thanks guys. Yeah that was the only thing that concerned me about the Palio was the plastic casing. Metal would sure feel a lot better in the hands.

Cheers,
Brad

Ehh, it's just aesthetics. I've had mine for a while with zero problems. Plus I love that if I ever feel it is getting dull, just take it to a Palio dealer and they're suppose to replace them no questions asked as long as you were using it for it's intended purpose.

Interesting did not know I could take it back to the retailer. That would save me not having a cutter by sending out for weeks at a time.

Cheers,
Brad

But a lot heavier to carry around in the pocket - the Palio is a nice cutter - just used mine.

I love my Palio as well. If you go to the Palio website, you can read how the cutter is not made of plastic but rather engineering polymers.

Re: New family members ...

I love my Palio as well, I have the exact same one as you too, the carbon fiber. As soon as I got mine, I got rid of my xikar. Didnt particularly care for the way it felt in the hand, and I could never get a straight cut with it.

Interesting. Makes me feel better actually. Knowing I'm not just holding ordinary plastic.

Cheers,
Brad

Re: New family members ...

Instead, you're holding the Glock of cigar cutters in your hand. Much more manly. I really think I might put some of these in a stocking or two this coming Christmas.

This is too funny - I bought these exact two items not too long ago from Heartfelt Industries. Good taste, good taste...
