I think I may have found a humidor

Does anyone have this cabinet or maybee large shelf humidor. It appears to be everything I am looking for.
No glass, solid wood, lots of drawers, a/c outlet.
any comments would be appreciated.

Much regards Jerry

Can anyone who is an humidor specialist, explain to me how good of a job of rh can this do with the drawers, as being no glass of door enclosing it. Also how would you humidify so many draws. Will there be a lot of air leakage out of the doors. So far this fits what I need the best. Its only 50 inchs high.
How many rows in height do you think (in any) could I get in each drawer with churchill sized cigars?

Re: I think I may have found a humidor

Beautiful Humidor but I do not understand why they call it an aging humidor?
Maybe the 2 doors on the bottom for a few boxes. The drawers are all for singles.
LOTS of singles which isnt very good for aging.

I love the look though. But functionality is lost on me.
Someone please help me out and explain the singles aging process.

Thanks

the ad says it stores a few dozen boxes on the bottom. Do you think they are overstating matters?

Re: I think I may have found a humidor

"A few dozen boxes"
what does that mean?

36 to 60 boxes
I wonder what it actually is?
what are the dimensions of the lower cabinet (a question you should ask the mfg.
The singles drawers are nice but you can find a cheaper cabinet for singles.

Of course this is my opinion and although it is right others may very

Maybe because you can lock the bottom, give the key to your wife and say "Don't give this back to me for a year, or no new shoes!" That way you can't sneak in and grab a couple smokes from what you're trying to age.

I am also curious about the drawers. I would be concerned about the seal on them. Is very attractive looking though, and it is enormous, so it'll hold tons =)

I am very satisfied with my:

Re: I think I may have found a humidor

Thats 2 ft deep 2 ft wide and 2 ft high, not sure how many boxes that is but I would not say a few dozen, maybe less then a dozen depending on the size and shape of them.

I think like all the draws take up to much space and it would be a lot better with less draws and more cabinet space. But thats just me. I love the way it looks.

I did a little calculation using a 20 cigar half corona box. Measures 8 x 5.5 x 2.5 I figure the bottom can then fit 12 boxes a row and 9 high for a total of 108 boxes or 2160 cigars. Each draw will hole 50 robustos.
So in a way, this will hold 2500 plus smaller cigars. LOL

Re: I think I may have found a humidor

Okay, I just got a restatement of size from the vendor. He seems like a good guy and prompt with answering emails. The bottom is 2x1x1 not 2x2x2.
At those dimensions and using half corona boxes the bottom can hold 480 cigars if luck. Add to that 500 on top and you get 1000 cigars. Thats at least 500 less then the manufacturers stated 1500, and thats using half coronas.
Let say you can put 75 in a drawere of only using half coronoas, thats still only 1250 or less.
If my numbers are correct, how can you trust the manufacturer of this humidor, when it is clearly in my estimation a falsehood number. Looks like they just took a number that will sell.

And if they used coronas(which is standard for measuring) you will get less. I would like a breakdown from the manufacturer if possible.

Anyway you slice it Jerry, you will have a ton of room for cigars. Looks like a beautiful unit.
