Thanks guys. Luckily the humidor is coming from Florida and I'm in Florida. I went to my B&M this morning but resisted the temptation of buying a few cigars. I am going to wait until the humi is seasoned. Can't wait for the UPS guy to show!!

Got the humidor and I love it. It is being seasoned as I type. Got a few questions. Does the Cigar Oasis XL pus display remain illuminated all the time? It is connected to a/c power. I ordered a WEstern Digital Caliber 3 hygrometer but still put the analog one that came with the humidor in there for looks. Is it normal that it reads 13% low (salt test)? Thanks.

Yes the Oasis remains illuminated. Yes its "normal" that analog hygros are off - notoriously inaccurate.

Thanks. Went out today to buy my first box of cigars. Got a box of 25 Padron Aniversario Monarca. Tried them last night and loved them. Had to buy the box.

Welcome to the slope brother, it looks like you are starting off just fine. Listen to the people here, and you will have more than enough suggestions to fill that humidor real fast!!

Two days ago bought me a box of Padron 3000 maduros. Nice everyday cigar. Can't wait to keep trying some of the ones suggested by other members.
