Boveda Spanish Cedar Holder for Humidifier Packets
Good evening
I have had so much trouble keeping my humidity right in my humidor that my friend at Updown cigar said to buy a 4 pack holder and use the Boveda packs since they will not allow mold into the wood. Is that true? I am new to this and want to do the right thing, Any help is appreciated |

Re: Boveda Spanish Cedar Holder for Humidifier Packets
Boveda Packs are are a good care-free way to go, but over time they become very costly to keep replacing. Especially if you have multiple packs in your humidor at once.
Beads are a much more cost effective option and are just as reliable if not more than the packs. Also, I'd check to make sure you have a good seal on your humidor to ensure no humidity is leaking out. You can do this a few ways, but one of the easy ones is to place a flashlight in your humidor and close it. Look to see if there is any light leaking out of your humidor. If not your good to go, if you do, then you might want to seal it up. |
