i usally keep my butane in my arm pit for like 5 min... works a lil better...

that is what i use to do when i had my nitrous bottles filled for my car. you freeze them first. it allows you to fit more gas in the tank and quickly

With my luck, I'd leave my lighter in the freezer overnight and ruin the damn thing, so I would be taking my chances trying something like this.

Rob is right..you should always fill your lighter this way if you have the patience..cold lighter and warm the can it your hand or like gerry said, your armpit or your butt.j/k..my lighters run better for sure and keeps the air pockets out..good post rob..
