Filling my first Humi (on a budget)

So I am waiting for my newly ordered humidor to arrive. I have some sticks now but I am wondering what are the must haves for the new humi. Oh yeah, I am on a budget too. I don't like spending more than 10 bucks a smoke. I like just about anything but I tend to smoke more maduros than anything. Thanks folks

Usually I like Arturo Fuente or Padron,
but if you're on a budget and love maduros like me.

Try a Sancho Panza Double Maduro
The price is good too.

Re: Filling my first Humi (on a budget)

I found that the quickie auctions on Cbid are a great way to save money...i'm averaging about 2-5 bucks per smoke instead of 12-20 per smoke. with the extra money i got a new humidor, 1/2 lb of beads, and 50 more sticks to play with...

5 Vegas produces excellent stogies at very good prices. I also like CAO Gols!

Montesino and Gispert make some excellent Maduros for under $5.

As mentioned, Padron and Fuente (especially the Hemingways) have some good maduros, IMO.

Here are some other opiniions: Great Maduros

Enjoy your new humi.!!!

Padron 2000 maduro, Sancho Panza Double maduro; you can get a box of each and it will cost around $100 total.

Without knowing what you like as far as flavor and strength, it is tough to say.

My inexpensive goto's are Pardons, Oliva G's, and Toranos 1916.

I also enjoy the La Vieja Habana line. They have 4 different styles to suit your likes and are only about $1.50 a stick when you buy a box.

Fuentes
Padrons

Also try some bundled cigars. Nic 3000s are one of my favorites.

I'll echo the for the Padron x000 line. Also the Oliva line are a nice, fairly inexpensive smoke. They make a nice maduro, too.
Fuente Chateau Sungrowns would be another I would recommend.

Re: Filling my first Humi (on a budget)

Welcome bro,

Please check out the search feature. This question has surely been asked and answered in great detail a million times.

Cigar like many things in life are highly subjective and a matter of personal taste. What I consider incredible you might loathe...

Personally I couldn't live without Padron Maduros!

That's just what I was thinking. You can get TONS of excellent sticks for under $10. I'll second the suggestion for the Torano 1916, they can be had for around $75 a box ($3 a stick).
