For those who have purchased from Climmax.com...

How long did it take for them to ship you your beads? It's been over a week now and my CC hasn't even been charged yet. I sent them an email and they still haven't responded.

I need those damn beads! I've got a coolerdor to fill.

Mine also came in about 10 (maybe 14?) days. They came the day after I sent an e-mail to find out what happened. Took awhile, but I sure am pleased with them.

I ordered, heard nothing, no response to attempts at contact, and ended up buying from bargainhumidors.com after 10 days of that BS. Bargainhumidors had my goods to the door in 3 days after ordering.

My order to Climmax went into some black hole, although he did call a month or so afterwards apologizing. Never again will I waste my time with that operation - never. That is my only BAD experience online ordering cigars and accessories.

I have had the same experience. It took me about 3 weeks from ordering to door. Good product, just slow response.

As far as Vern and Climmax, I have had good dealings with Vern in the past but my last order was lost. Vern felt bad for the delay and "took care of me." While many people in the cigar world know Vern personally, I do not, I only know him to do business with, I've placed four orders with him over the last two years, three of which were delivered in three days or less.

I have seen a few postings from others to the effect that Vern has suffered a few health related set backs recently and I have first hand knowledge that he is having problems from some of his suppliers with respect to hygrometers.

All that being said, yes, Vern seems to have some customer service issues at the present time but his I for one wish him a speedy recovery to his health which is probably the most important thing in one's life and once that's taken care of, I hope he can get Climmax's reputation back to where it used to be.

So yes, my last order was a little screwed up but at this point considering Vern's fine reputation in the "Cigar World" I cannot agree with statements like "I'll never do business with him ever again."

I would suggest that BEFORE you place an order with Vern, you contact him via email, ask him how he's doing and send him your best wishes and ask him if he can accomodate your order in a timely fashion. If you absolutely, positively cannot wait then do what you have to do but I for one think Vern is a stand up guy and wish him the best.

Another voice of support for Viper - www.heartfeltindustries.com

David was very helpful with me and both of my orders were delivered within a few days.

Re: For those who have purchased from Climmax.com...

I'm sending Climmax an email to not process my order.

Viper, is that aluminum humidifier much heavier than an average 100+ count plastic humidifier? I'm wondering if the magnet in my box will hold it.

I'm also thinking about getting a drawstring bag, but I'm a bit worried about mold, which is why I don't want to throw them in a stocking either since I'm under the impression that "laundry" can lead to mold.
