Wondering about this humidor

Ok well Im a new/18 year old cigar smoker, and do not want to spend a hundo on a small a humidor at the moment, yet I probably will within the mont. Untill then do you guys think that something like this would work??

Hard to find fans of this type of storage. I'd have a more positive opinion if the humidification method were more reliable. I think you'll have better success with a sealable tupperware bowl, some floral foam and a bottle of 50/50 soln, if you're looking at something for moderate time frame storage. Probably costs about the same, unless you can scrape up a bowl from around the home, which outta make it pretty cheap. Small coolers work well, if you've got one around.

Then there's the Ol' Crack auction site, where you can probably find a smaller humi for cheap.

Floral foam is the green stuff you'll find in flower arrangments. It can hold water/fluids for an extended period of time.

50/50 solution is a mixture of propylene glycol, (PG) and distilled water. It has a dual function in that it both gives off moisture (humidity) and removes moisture from the container. It also has the benefit of maintaining the 70 degrees / 70% humidity level.

Just soak the foam in the 50/50, set it in your container, and viola.
