i would not let it get above 80% when seasoning it.

hey Ron just wondering but whats the reasoning behind not letting it above 80%? im thinking i let it go and add the humibeads which will suck in the additional humidity till it gets to 65%

If you let it get too moist the wood can start to warp and really mess things up.

franksmith answered it. just try to get it up to the 75-80% range, and keep it there for a week. than start using the beads to bring it back down.
