Re: 2 Humidors; 2 Temps to high
Seangar is right, not much you can do. You can try changing the location of your humidor to a cooler part of the house, or closer to a AC vent. That's what I had to do for one of my humis. The morning sun would warm up the master bedroom early in the morning, bringing the temperature up in the room. I moved the humi to another room, and the other i placed it inline with the ac vent hoping it would alleviate the problem. Check you cigars often for signs of infestation, I know it's a little cumbersome, and that's why I'm considering some type of cooled storage(cooledor or cooled cabinet) Good luck Erick.

Coleman sells a portable full size temperature controlled cooler intended for car trips. It somes with and AC adapter. Both your humis should fit in it. Dont remember if it has an adjustible thermostat or not. (I have one at the shack). Either that or break down and buy a wine coolidor. |

If you don't have a/c and you can't find anywhere in the house below 70 or so degrees, you may need to take more severe measures(coolidor etc) I'm fortunate that I have a basement(my office) that stays 65-68deg. all year Good luck and for pete's sake protect your little buddies ![]() |

Re: 2 Humidors; 2 Temps to high
I would definately try to change the location of the humis to a cooler room. I would also try to raise AC a little so room cools down,if room cools down humis should as well. I aso suggest opening the humis atleast ounce a day to get some fresh air in them. You could also try switching to a coolador for the hot months,it may be more stabilized than a cedar humi.
