Anybody use or know about the Hydra humidifier

I was reading about the Hydra active humidifier, I now use a Cigar Oasis in 3 of my huimidors. The Hydra has a few features that make it way better than the CO. Does anybody use one or know a BOTL who does I'm thinking of trying one but want to hear how they are first

I too would like to know user opinions on this device.

Also, does it come with a battery pack? My closet does not have a plug-in and I don't want to run an extension cord all over the place.

No battery pack, 120v but I am looking for a device I have used from Radio Shack that may work for you

The Hydra are the "CO Killer". The optional fans are the best!

Give me a call (702) 952-9420, I will be glad to answer any questions you have. I tested the prototype for the company that sells the Hydra for about 3months before the production unit came out. The unit is great.

HYDRA Humidifier

A few of the unique features are:

The hygrometer that the unit uses to turn itself on and of as needed can be calibrated. This make the unit accurate as far as the set point you choose. It uses the same technology as the adjustable hygrometers that I sell and have been on the market for a while, so the technology is pretty proven.

The unit can run up to 3 extra fans for air circulation in your humidor. These are controlled by the same hygrometer and work very well to keep things moving.

The unit can be daisy chained so you can run two units on the same power supply for larger humidors. This reduces the amount of ribbon wire running into the humidor.

i recently purchased one from CI because my Cigar Oasis was not doing the job in my cabinet humidor. The Hydra was very easy to set up and it has alarms for low water, and is very accurate. Best of all it cost way less than the CA. My suggestion, GET ONE!

Usually the same place you get the Hydra.
For example, Heartfelt has them:
