Cigar Caddy question

Are you supposed to moisten the sponge inside, or just leave as is?

Re: Cigar Caddy question

If I plan on leaving them in there for longer then a week then I would. However since I have never had cigars in mine longer then a week, I have never added water..

Heh, got one of those myself. Just leave as-is. The 5-count and larger models do have a very small hygrometer (floral foam) inside the lid, but the 2-count does not.

2-count is really designed for the quick herf or 9 holes of golf outing. Realistically your 'gars will probably last 2-3 days (I've heard claims of up to 7 days even) inside just due to the seal.

Re: Cigar Caddy question

the 2 cigar model does not have a humidifier. the 5,10, and 15 cigar models do come with a humidifier. my opinion is do not use the humidifier at all. for short trips, you should not need a humidifier. the cases are airtight, so your cigars will be fine. for longer trips, use a humidipak. i just do not like the idea of that wet floral foam humidifier being close to my cigars.
