My first post....humidor question?

Hello,

I have learned a lot reading the forums. I am a new cigar smoker and am needing a humidor.

I am looking at these 3

http://www.cheaphumidors.com/Merchan...roduct_Count=1

http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/Pr...ductid=HUM-BH6

http://www.tampahumidor.com/sd4/product/matera-2417.cfm

I am kind of leaning toward the CEO. It is a little smaller than the other 2 but looks like it comes with a better hygrometer and humidifier.

However I know nothing about any of the company's reputation, etc.

I guess my final decision will be based on the box alone since the hygometer and humidifier can be changed.

So i am looking for advice, recommendations etc.

Thanks

Go big! Bigger than you think, then one size larger. That should last you at least a few months.

Welcome to CS! Seriously, go big!

Re: My first post....humidor question?

Since they are all in the same relative price range - I'd go with the CEO since it does come with digital.
That being said, keep in mind that humidors do not normally hold the advertised amount of cigars - i.e. a 100 count humidor would only hold about 50 cigars.

Good luck on your selection - the first humidor is always a special occasion!

Of those three the CEO looks the nicest and comes with a digital which you'll be picking up anyway most likely. Shop around though you might want to consider getting a bigger one. These guys are right once you fill the first one you keep buying more and more and more..well you'll see!

Re: My first post....humidor question?

Those are nice selections but have you considered a glass top?

You can see inside without opening the lid and you can monitor the digital hygro. on the inside as well.

Although a bit pricier, here's an example:

Good luck with whatever you choose!

I have the Milano from Cheaphumidor, it works great and a good price. You can always picks up a digital hygrometer, and you'll want to get bead from Viper. Good luck and enjoy your new toy!

Re: My first post....humidor question?

They all look to small. Any one of the three will work great. The CEO has the digi hygrometer which is a plus. But you can get a digital hygrometer at Walmart for $7.00 too. While your there at Walmart go ahead and get a cooler, you will soon need one..Slip slidin' away...
