Placing a humidor inside of a cooler with ice packs...
I recently purchased a Vinotemp because my large desktop humidor would get very hot inside for 6 months out of the year (75 - 85 degrees). I have outgrown the Vinotemp already (
) and instead of buying another one, I was wondering if anyone had experience with placing their desktop humidor inside of a large ice chest and placing cold packs inside of the ice chest (not in the humidor) to keep things cool during the hot months. Last summer I experimented with placing ice packs wrapped in towels inside the humidor but that caused the humidity inside the humidor to fluctuate quite rapidly. Any thoughts?
