They have something similar to that at my local B+M if it is what you are describing and I am remembering correctly. Its pretty nice and heavy, looks nice too.

Re: A cigar ring gauge device??

My father used to make rings as a hobby and he had one of these:http://cgi.ebay.com/Jewelers-Tool-36...QQcmdZViewItem

I have been wondering if these same sizes are used for cigars. I have it around her somewhere. Hope this helps.

Some elbow grease and some maple or other hardwood and you could have one easy peasy!

I've seen those on ebay occasionally.
They usually go for about the same money as a box of Padron 3000's.

They have also popped up on cigarbid before. Never paid attention to price.

Truth be told, I use a set of calipers that I keep around for wood turning.

http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=17291&filter=calipers$30 at Rockler.

Local B&M here has a leaf model gauge like that, he said it was a promotional freebie he got from Davidoff a few years back (I asked because I wanted one).

RJT I believe set me up with one of these but I see above he says they are no longer sold. HOWEVER if you do see one on eBay or can get someone to bid on it if it comes up on CBid it is worth your time.

Great for measuring RG plus it looks twice as good in person.

Re: A cigar ring gauge device??

Sometime ago I found one of these at the local B & M and sent it along to Craig and in mentioning it I remember somebody else asking me about getting one for them, but I can't seem to find my notes on who that would be. If that was you and you still want one PM me. For some reason I was thinking it was Bobarian or one of the other Bay Area/Norcal guys. Let me know I have 2.
