Do the RS units enable you to monitor more than one remote sensor at a time? In other words, can I monitor both a humidor and coolerdor at the same time with one base unit and two sensors?

Yes:

Base station:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...t%5Fid=63-1089

See the temperature and humidity level at a glance, as well as the date and time. Display features large, easy-to-read numbers. Plus, the entire system is expandable—add up to two additional remote sensors (#63-1092) for multiple readings around or outside your home. Simply place the water-resistant remote sensor outside(change outside to "in your humidor"), and it will wirelessly transmit the temperature back to the thermometer from up to 100 feet away.

Re: digital hygrometers

I picked up my Western Caliber III on ebay (the OTHER Devil ) for $21 including shipping. So far, it's been dead accurate, and it's a very compact unit. I haven't ever salt tested it, but I figured it should read 70 because I'm doing 50/50 PG (someone let me know if my thinking is incorrect here - I don't want to be ruining my stogies)... I haven't noticed anything wrong with my smokes, but if something doesn't sound right about that - TELL ME, PLEASE! But that's my digi-hygro situation. I believe it's got a lifetime warranty, too. (I'll verify that when I get home from work tonight.)

I don't think you'll be ruining your stogies you just won't have them in the optimal enviroment.
The Salt Test it quite accurate and the Humidification beads are very accurate too. PG or propylene glycol has in my experience to much of a flucuation. I really don't like to reccomend stuff unless I really am pleased with it but I do recommend the humidification beads, from Dave. FWIW I have tested probably 20+ digital hygrometers and the accuracy of most is varied.
