whatever you go with, more is better as more beads will allow your storage device to recover faster after opening. I have about 2.5 lbs of 65% Beads in my 150qt Cooler.

Thanks once again for all the replies!
 It's amazing what one can learn from reading sticky's! I've finally "calmed down" and the need to learn everything as fast as I can...Is just gunna have to "wait"...lol. Patience is a word I've "heard" many times on this great forum...I think I'll try and apply it. i also plan on buying the beads i was in the same boat as you. im thinking i might go with the 70 % its mainly personal pref ... good luck from one newb to another.

I started with 70% beads but I gave them away and bought some 65%.

I own a pound and a half of 65%...Moat in my fridge-a-dor, some in my desktop.
Since I made the switch (over 2 years ago) to 65%, I have not had a burn problem. I think they taste better at 65%. YMMV
